+I want to compete. How do I register?

+Can I participate if I am new to competition?

Of course. We offer 2 divisions of competition; RX'd and Open. The Rx'd division is the more challenging division, designed for those who are more competitive or who RX'd many (but not all) club WOD's. The Open division is specifically designed for those who are lacking a few key high level skills (MU, HS walking, etc.) or are new to functional fitness competitions. The CIC has a spot for everyone.

+Is there a minimum age to compete?

Yes. The minimum age to compete is 15 years, but we do allow younger athletes in specific circumstances (training age and experience in functional fitness) If you are under 15 years of age and would like to "apply" contact justin@synergystrength.ca

+I am unsure which division to register in?

+When does registration close?

CIC registration will close Monday April 29th, 2024 @ 12:00pm. This will ensure the organizing committee enough time to create schedules, plans, and heat assignments for the weekend.

+I need to change my team name or team members after I have registered?

Please email justin@synergystrength.ca with all changes to your team registration.

+Is there an entrance fee for spectators?

No, the CIC is 100% free to attend.

+When will the schedule and heat times be announced?

We will have the schedule and heat times announced around 2 weeks prior to the event. There are always last minute changes to make, but we want to provide you ample opportunity to feel prepared. WE will email you and announce on social media.

+When will the workouts be announced?

We will release workouts at least 1.5-2 weeks in advance of competition so that all teams have appropriate time to practice and plan their approach to the events. They will be released on the Synergy Strength social media channels as well as at www.synergystrnegth.ca (under the CIC tab)
