Synergy Strength is proud to announce new structure within the Powerlifting program beginning May 01, 2016. We have grown our team of powerlifters (hybrid and full power) to over 50+ people and with growth comes the opportunity for changes in a positive direction. We are making two new changes - new coaches and new programming.
Our team will now consist of Steve Price, Robyn Price, and the new guy on the block is Marc Morris. As you all know Marc is not new in any way to the sport of powerlifting and to many of you as athletes. Starting May Marc will officially be a Synergy Strength Powerlifting coach.
With the addition of Marc to the already stacked coaching team of Robyn and Steve, we have the opportunity to direct coachign into more specific avenues. We will be introducing "NOVICE" and "ELITE" (National and International ranked atheltes) programming models. Robyn and Steve will direct the Novice training programs (base and Hybrid) and Marc will lead the Elite program (maybe need a new word, but you get the point).
NOVICE atheltes are those who are new to the sport or have competition totals under national rankings. Programming will be created by Steve and Robyn and Coached times will move to 5:30-7pm Monday and Wednesday to hit more of the peak training times. Coaches will also be implementing check-ins with athletes to ensure that they are on path and receiving the help required to progress in our sport.
ELITE athletes are the atheltes with competition totals above National rankings. Atheltes will work with Marc remotely via check-ins and he will tweak and address individual needs as necessary for each athlete.
By no means are these programs meant to create divide, but alternatively to provide more specific coaching to the needs of the athletes and their level of experience. We are very excited about these changes as they will bring a much higher level of focus and assist the continued growth of our program.
