Jason played rugby and rowed crew growing up in Newfoundland, but it was the fun and freedom of less conventional sports like mountain-biking, rock-climbing, martial arts, and CrossFit that truly cemented his love of fitness. Likewise, his approach to nutrition science and coaching is rooted in a deep love of food. If it’s gonna be sustainable, it’s gotta be fun.

After working with a disabled friend who improved his 5K race time by 30 minutes, Jason decided to become a fitness and nutrition professional.  Since then, he has continually expanded his knowledge and skills by earning a slew of coaching certifications including the Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and Personal Trainer (NSCA-CPT) certifications from the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He also is a TRX instructor, an Agatsu Kettlebell Instructor (AKB-L1), a CrossFIt Trainer (CF-L1) and a Precision Nutrition Coach (PN-L1).

It is Jason’s mission to help regular people develop extraordinary fitness.  Wherever you're starting from, his safe, efficient, and effective training programs and nutrition coaching will help you build the fitness you need to tackle challenges and achieve your goals.

When not being a fitness and nutrition geek, Jason can be found being a philosophy, music, and comic book geek (much to his wife’s delight).

Nutrition Coach and Educator

Specializing in sports nutrition and nutrition education, Dawn strives to optimize individual's performance, health and wellness though improved dietary patterns. Clients create a new normal of eating patterns designed to obtain desired aesthetic, energetic, athletic or performance goals.  Strategies employed to enable client success include: advances in nutrition knowledge, improved meal timing and consistency, mindful eating, macronutrient manipulation, metabolic optimization and flexible eating.
