Synergy Strength is happy to announce that we will be opening up two new training programs in the fall based on the needs of our members and our training programs. Below is an outline of the courses;
Level 2 - Learn to Train:
Level 2 training programs will run one hour 2x/week for 8 weeks. This program is going to be limited to 6 participants and will focus on skills to better develop athletes abilities to take on the level 2 training programs pre/post group class work. The first 8 classes (one month) will focus on weightlifting technique (snatch/clean and jerk), gymnastics techniques (HSPU's, MU's, pistols, and GHD work), and some basic strongman exercises - the classes will run as one hour educational classes designed to improve and educated members on the lifts and movements in the pre/post class work programmed. The last 8 sessions (last month) will be implementing the work learned in the first 8 sessions, we will be completing the pre/post work with a coach and getting guidance on proper technique and implementation of the pre class work. The 8 week course will be designed to get you up to speed on pre/post group class work and ensure that you feel comfortable doing it as programmed.
Requirements - 9 of the Level 2 skills need to be had before taking this class.
Schedule - 6:00pm and 7:00pm (one hour class) Monday and Wednesday starting October October 05, 2015 to November 25th, 2015.
Level 3 - Train to Win:
Level 3 courses will be additional work that will replace the group class work 2x/week. The classes will be 2 hours in length, coach led, team oriented, and designed to continue to improve top athletes involvement in the sport, and improve their skill sets to a higher degree for competition. If you compete or are interested in competing at a high level this class will be for you. This is not only a group class or a time to work out and be pushed with others, but it is a time to develop skills and have improved coach:athlete communication. Our goals as coaches in this course is to provide the skills lacking to move forward as an athlete - this might men tweaking warm-up routines, adding or removing volume where necessary, completing strength cycles, or mono structural aerobic cycles, improve speed over strength etc. Each athlete will be different and we want to work with them to develop them to be the best they can be. Coach MAtt and Chad will be leading these classes, which ensures a high level of experience and education will be provided each class. This class will require a minimum of 10 people to run, this was in an effort to keep costs down for the class and to ensure good team dynamics.
Requirements - 9 of the Level 3 skills are needed to take part in this class.
Schedule - 6:00-8:00pm (2 hour class) Tuesday and Thursday starting October 06th to November 26th, 2015.
These courses will begin in the fall after the BCBD has been completed. We are very excited to get these going and to have them as regularly scheduled classes for you all wishing to take your training to the next level. Course dates and times will be set soon, but for now - if you have any questions please forward them to firstname.lastname@example.org. I would love to hear from you and I would love to get your feedback on this as it is you the member who dictates our path and our directions.
