Marc Morris PhD, CSCS
Marc is a full-blown health enthusiast. Marc received an Honours Chemistry (Bio-organic Specialization) degree from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario.
In academia, Marc’s experience ranges from playing “lab rat” as a healthy control to delivering a two full university level courses (Advanced Metabolism and Macronutrients and Current Issues in Nutrition). He was also presented five conference abstracts at Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario. In 2009, he moved to the Prairies to pursue graduate school in Nutrition at the University of Saskatchewan, where he is currently working on his PhD in Nutrition.
As a strength athlete, Marc is a nationally-ranked Powerlifter, 2012 Westerns Raw Champion and holds the #1 ranked raw deadlift in Saskatchewan (by wilks). He has coached several athletes to the National level, including multiple podium finishes, and the provincial level where his athletes hold several provincial records. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
As a health coach, Marc provides guidance to all those looking to improve their health and reach their fitness goals, specifically through barbell strength training and body recomposition.
Jen Marchuk, PN
Over the last two decades, Jen has worked tirelessly at honing her skills in both fitness and nutrition.
Having held coaching roles in team sports, personal training and Crossfit, Jen has developed an unparalled skill set in the art of managing and motivating a plethora of personalities.
In 2009, after placing top three at the Ontario Physique Association's Stratford Classic Championships, Jen experienced first hand the effect extreme dieting can have on one's mental and physical state.
It was then she began to delve deeper in to her study of nutrition.
Since then Jen has attained numerous coaching and nutrition certifications to compliment her formal education. She has gone on to share her knowledge over numerous platforms, including contributing a weekly health and wellness editorial to a local news publication as well as a guest spot on a morning radio show.
Having dealt with her own weight issues from a young age, Jen is sympathetic to the individual needs of those who are embarking on their own health and fitness journeys.
As a coach, Jen merges life experience with education to assist others in forging their individualized path to health and wellness.
