Marc Morris PhD, CSCS

Marc is a full-blown health enthusiast.  Marc received an Honours Chemistry (Bio-organic Specialization) degree from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario.

In academia, Marc’s experience ranges from playing “lab rat” as a healthy control to delivering a two full university level courses (Advanced Metabolism and Macronutrients and Current Issues in Nutrition). He was also presented five conference abstracts at Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario. In 2009, he moved to the Prairies to pursue graduate school in Nutrition at the University of Saskatchewan, where he is currently working on his PhD in Nutrition.

As a strength athlete, Marc is a nationally-ranked Powerlifter, 2012 Westerns Raw Champion and holds the #1 ranked raw deadlift in Saskatchewan (by wilks).  He has coached several athletes to the National level, including multiple podium finishes, and the provincial level where his athletes hold several provincial records. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

As a health coach, Marc provides guidance to all those looking to improve their health and reach their fitness goals, specifically through barbell strength training and body recomposition.

Jen Marchuk, PN

Over the last two decades, Jen has worked tirelessly at honing her skills in both fitness and nutrition.

Having held coaching roles in team sports, personal training and Crossfit, Jen has developed an unparalled skill set in the art of managing and motivating a plethora of personalities. 

In 2009, after placing top three at the Ontario Physique Association's Stratford Classic Championships, Jen experienced first hand the effect extreme dieting can have on one's mental and physical state.

It was then she began to delve deeper in to her study of nutrition. 

Since then Jen has attained numerous coaching and nutrition certifications to compliment her formal education. She has gone on to share her knowledge over numerous platforms, including contributing a weekly health and wellness editorial to a local news publication as well as a guest spot on a morning radio show. 

Having dealt with her own weight issues from a young age, Jen is sympathetic to the individual needs of those who are embarking on their own health and fitness journeys. 

As a coach, Jen merges life experience with education to assist others in forging their individualized path to health and wellness.

Katelyn Stevenson (Bio)

Katelyn entered the world of CrossFit as a classically trained dancer. She traded in her ballet shoes for a pair of metcon’s at eighteen and never looked back. Exercise was part of her life from the very beginning, though it wasn’t until she fell in love with CrossFit where her passion for health and wellness became clear. Over the last six years Katelyn has obtained her Bachelor of Commerce Degree with a major in Finance from the University of Saskatchewan. She remained loyal in the gym and has embarked on a new journey as a coach at Synergy Strength Humboldt. Most recently she has ventured into the education of nutrition studying as a master student under Marc Morris PhD, CSCS. Katelyn strives to help people create balanced, healthy lives while working towards their goals through education and guidance.

Meredith Anderson (Bio)

From early childhood to young adult, Meredith struggled with being overweight and unhealthy. Frustrated and tired of being unhappy in her own body she decided to make a change. With weight loss came a desire to increase her fitness, try CrossFit, resistance training and eventually a bucket-list Figure Competition. Soaking up all the information from her coach at the time, it inspired her to set and achieve new personal and professional goals. A Registered Massage Therapist for the past 13 years, Meredith has now added to her growing list of certifications...among them being: Certified Personal Trainer, Level 1 Precision Nutrition Coach and most recently a graduate of Marc Morris PhD, CSCS Nutrition Masterclass Program. A love for continuing education and a passion for helping others achieve better health & wellness, Meredith is also excited to be a leader in Humboldt as one of their Synergy Coaches.

Having lived each end of the body composition spectrum, she can relate to many people’s nutrition struggles and successes. Meredith guides clients through habit and behaviour changes that positively impact health, body composition and athletic performance. A working Mom of a toddler, married to a farmer and living in a rural community, you can trust that she empathizes and understands unique roadblocks when it comes to program adherence. “Consistency in Sustainability” is her motto, helping clients find balance in their nutrition while enjoying the process and still living life!

Jennifer Doak (Bio)

Jennifer has always had a passion for all things Health and fitness. The only thing she may love more is coaching! and helping others with all things health and fitness J

Growing up you would find her on the ice rink or the school gymnasium. Later, Jennifer would continue in her fitness pursuits taking on physique competitions and Spartan racing.

She would study and read all she could on nutrition in relation to her fitness goals, but it wasn’t until the birth of her son she was diagnosed with an Auto Immune disease Hashimotos Thyroiditis, that she felt the push to learn more about nutrition and how strongly what we eat can effect both our goals and most importantly our health.

She received her Level 1 Precision Nutrition certificate and is currently studying as a Master Student under Marc Morris. PHD. CSCS.

As a coach with Synergy Strength and Conditioning in Warman, and a busy Mom, Jennifer understands that trying to balance it all and reach your goals is not easy! Whether your goals are health or sports related, Jennifer will help to provide real strategies and tools to improve your health, achieve your goals and empower you to develop long term sustainable habits to live your healthiest and happiest life!
