Lunge in the Park

Szumigalski (Industrial) Park

Between 38 St. E and 36 St. E

INDIV. WORKOUT
For Time:
100’ DB Overhead Lunge
40 Alternating DB Snatch
100’ DB Overhead Lunge

TEAMS WORKOUT
For Time:
Partner 1:
100’ DB Overhead Lunge
30 Alternating DB Snatch

Then Partner 2:
30 Alternating DB Snatch
100’ DB Overhead Lunge

TIME CAP: 5 min

 

INDIVIDUALS

- Pick up DB and hold overhead with one arm as you lunge to the other end of the field
- Once you have lunged and got BOTH feet PAST the line you will then complete 40 Alternating DB Snatches
- Once the DB Snatches are complete you will then turn and Lunge with the DB Overhead back to the start line
- Once you have lunged BOTH feet PAST the line your time will stop
- There are no sections. If the DB is dropped, touches the athlete anywhere, or the athlete misses touching their knee to the ground the judge will indicate where to begin from again

TEAMS

- Partner 1 will pick up DB and hold overhead with one arm as you lunge to the other end of the field
- Once you have lunged and got BOTH feet PAST the line you will then complete 30 Alternating DB Snatches
- Once the DB Snatches are complete Partner 2 will then take the DB
- They will begin by doing the 30 Alternating DB Snatches
- Once the DB Snatches are complete the same partner will then hold the DB Overhead as they lunge back to the start line.
- Once you have lunged BOTH feet PAST the line and both teammates cross the line your time will stop
- There are no sections. If the DB is dropped, touches the athlete anywhere, or the athlete misses touching their knee to the ground the judge will indicate where to begin from again
