The teen program is part of the expansive kids and specialty programs that Synergy Strength offers. We offer kids programming (7-13 yoa - DaBears program) and junior weightlifting (13+ yoa - Synergy Weightlifting) on top of the Teen CrossFit program. There are many options available to kids at Synergy as we believe that variety and exposure to multiple different spots is important to the long-term athletic development. The kids teen program is designed to expose kids to all aspects of the sport of CrossFit; weightlifting, powerlifting, gymnastics, basic conditioning, and much more.
The goal of the program is to teach kids the fundamentals of movement and gym etiquette along with the value of strength training and fitness. Teen trainees are allowed to attend regular adult CrossFit classes if they are 15 years of age and have attended the program long enough to understand workouts and all movements (coaches must approve the transition).
