What is CrossFit?

CrossFit begins with a belief in fitness.  The aim of CrossFit is to forge a broad, general, inclusive fitness. We have sought to build a program that will best prepare trainees for any physical contingency - not only the unknown, but the unknowable. CrossFit was the first group to define fitness in a meaningful, measurable way (increase work capacity across broad time and modal domains).  CrossFit itself is defined as that which optimizes fitness (constantly varied functional movement performed at relatively high intensities).  CrossFit is also the community spontaneously arises when people do workouts together.  In fact, the communal aspect of CrossFit is the key component of why it's so effective. 

Crossfit at Synergy Strength

Synergy believes in health, fitness, and sport. This means that we offer CrossFit for everyone - those beginning the path into CrossFit and those looking to compete in the sport of CrossFit.  We offer a group class program where we use the basics of gymnastics, weightlifting, powerlifting, and strongman to develop fun constantly varies workouts in an effort to create something much more than just a workout.  We are more than a workout program as we offer a challenge, accountability, a team atmosphere, and an ability to be a part of something much bigger than just a gym.  We believe in community and a welcoming atmosphere where you can be rewarded for every steps forward in the betterment of your fitness no matter how big or small.
