Chad BenkoChad grew up in a family where work ethics, morals, and honesty were highly respected and he now brings those values to his work life at Synergy. Chad loves working with members and seeing their progress and achievements as he is very passionate about making a difference in peoples lives. Chad is thankful for the people in his life who have influenced and empowered him to continue to learn and reach higher within the field of health and wellness. Chad firmly believes Synergy has the greatest community, members, and coaches. |

Ian MacDonaldIan admits he wears many different hats…husband, father, brother, friend, volunteer, business owner, coach, athlete, and corporate businessman…and he loves every minute of it! Ian’s positive and upbeat attitude is the result of a variety of influences. Ian’s rural roots instilled in him a strong work ethic and the value of respect. Playing sports on the Provincial and National scene taught Ian to appreciate the importance of dedication and the pursuit of excellence. Becoming a Chartered Accountant reinforced the values of honesty and integrity. Last and not least, being a husband and father has shown Ian the strength of family and community. With a personal motto of “always make a difference”, Ian is appreciative of the opportunity to help make a difference in the health and wellness of others. |

Courtney BathgateCourtney’s greatest joy in life is making other people happy. Synergy has allowed her to do that day after day as she assists people to reach their goals. There is a certain excitement that she feels every time someone gets their first pull-up, as she can remember exactly how that felt. Helping others has always been a passion of Courtney’s and she’s so grateful that she has been given the opportunity to do this in a fun, fitness oriented atmosphere. Courtney’s carefree attitude is what makes people want to ask for assistance or guidance. She goes above and beyond for her Synergy family and she wouldn’t have it any other way. |

Dale JohnstoneDale always had a wide variety of athletic interests and understands that it will be the improvements in his health and fitness he makes today that allow him to achieve his goals: prevent (further) injuries and get the most of out of life in the years to come. Watching everyday people change their lives a little bit each week, and having the chance to be involved in that growth, is what really fires Dale up and makes him smile (inside). |

Jason TrinhAt a younger age, Jason was not given the chance to commit to sport and regrets his lack of opportunity to see how far he could go. CrossFit has not only improved his fitness and overall health, but it has given him an avenue to pursue sports again, such as Olympic Weightlifting and the Reebok CrossFit Games. Jason’s growth, and that of the Synergy members, gives him the initiative to work hard and is something to which he looks forward everyday. Jason is thankful that he has been given the opportunity to do what he can to instill in others the passion he has for health and fitness. |

Madison JenningsMadison enhances the level of team work and community within the gym. She has been an active member in sports activities her entire life and has embraced fitness and nutritional well-being as an ongoing lifestyle choice. Maddi’s positive outlook on life is contagious to those around her and her passion for fitness is addictive! Maddi’s outgoing but disciplined approach has helped many succeed in their journey towards their individual goals. |

Matt BathgateMatt is a competitive CrossFitter who brings his background and experience in team sports (Rugby, Hockey, etc) into the gym setting to provide strong leadership with clear cueing and feedback. Matt has a thirst for knowledge that leads him to continually learn new and useful perspectives on sport, training, nutrition, and health that positively benefit his clients and the Synergy culture as a whole. Matt has a good eye for movement and his education in the natural sciences provides him with an understanding of physical systems that aids his understanding of human bio-mechanical efficiency. |

Patti JohnstonePatti will be the first to admit that she has to work very hard to be very average. Although she has a strong background in running competitive track, and later in distance running, she has come to appreciate the benefits of intense training like Crossfit. Patti holds a deep desire to master body movements and to be a strong athlete. She enjoys helping people reach their goals and realize they are capable of more than they think! She also loves to laugh and joke around… only after the hard work is done, of course! |

Rob WebbRob was involved in a variety of sports prior to coming to CrossFit at Synergy. Being a member of the Synergy community has been extremely positive and rewarding for him… both personally and from a coaching perspective. Rob finds a great deal of enjoyment from the community that Synergy Strength and Conditioning has built within its walls. This very positive atmosphere has given Rob the motivation to succeed as a coach and branch out further into the CrossFit world. |

Vanessa DeGirolamoVanessa is a retired cheerleader/gymnast turned CrossFitter. Vanessa has always been actively involved in the community through coaching and offering her expertise where desired.
