When I first started with Synergy I was impressed with the care and detail that was taken to ensure that I was doing the lifting properly. The atmosphere at the club is tremendous. The instructors are motivational and I look forward to coming everyday. My three biggest accomplishments would be; 1. weight loss 2. strength and 3. motivation.
I have worked out in one form or another regularly since 1990 but I never lost any weight. Since starting up 6 days a week and going on Chad’s recommended diet of food and vitamins I have trimmed down from 205 lbs to 190. I still have a ways to go to become more lean and less body fat but so far so good. Strength has come with attendance but also with the once per week volume work. When I started I was using the green band for kipping pull-ups and now I can do 10 or more without any band. Lastly, if the atmosphere, friendships and camaraderie were not so good I would not have been able to attain the first two accomplishments. I always say to my staff, “if I am feeling stressed or blue all I have to do is walk in those doors at Synergy and see all the smiling, motivated faces and the blues go away”.
